What’s included:
The use of fly rods, reels and all necessary tackle is included on all fly trips. Spinning or Baitcasting tackle can also be supplied at your request. We are here to assist you with your preferred technique.
HALF DAY FISHING TRIPS:
Half day trips spend 4 hours on the water. These trips are the perfect choice for busy anglers. Often, they are just the right length for kids or those looking to try the sport for the first time. Note: lunch is not included in our half day trips.
FULL DAY FISHING TRIPS:
The full day trip is our most frequently booked. These trips start in the morning and spend approximately 7 hours on the water fishing. Additional time is set aside to take a break, relax, and enjoy a freshly prepared streamside lunch. Fullday trips are 8 hours from ramp to ramp.
Upon booking a trip and confirming a date with Mainstream Guides we will contact you approximately one week prior to your trip to review details and give specific directions with regard to when and where you will meet. Meeting times and locations will depend upon current fishing conditions and stream flows.
We provide all necessary equipment and tackle. You must purchase a MICHIGAN fishing license before the trip.

I've had the pleasure and expertise of fishing with Aaron Spence since 1999. We have fished the Muskegon River, Big Mannistee and Pere Marquette. Usually twice a year... spring and fall. Salmon, steelhead, rainbow and brown trout. He's prompt, courteous and extremely competent on and off the water. We'll be on the water in October for late salmon and fresh steelhead. Tight lines!!
